Julie Strange

I have had the honor of serving as an administrator at Wellington Elementary since our doors opened in 2011. I served as the assistant principal for the first two years, then was named principal in 2013.

I graduated from the University of Kentucky with a bachelor's degree in Music Education with which I taught K-5 general music in Indianapolis and here in Fayette County. I earned my master's degree in Educational Leadership from Eastern Kentucky University in 2011 and am working on a Rank 1 Superintendent and Supervisor of Instruction Certification through Western Kentucky University.

I live in Lexington with my husband, Chris, and our chihuahua mix, Mia. I love to travel and read and enjoy the performing arts.
